Kledingbank Maxima Winschoten is located on Mr A.J. de Sitterstraat. Our committed volunteers support residents of Oldambt and the surrounding area who could temporarily use a helping hand. Everyone is welcome and is received with respect, personal attention and a listening ear. Kledingbank Maxima is about much more than clothing alone.

Winschoten is also known as the Rose of the Region. The town has a rich history as a trading centre and is known for its welcoming shopping district, Stadspark and annual Adrillenmarkt, one of the largest annual markets in the northern Netherlands. It is a town where people know one another and where community spirit remains important. This perfectly matches what Kledingbank Maxima stands for: looking out for one another and helping when needed.

Our location has an extensive collection of clothing for women, men and children. All clothing is carefully checked, sorted and clearly presented, making a visit feel like shopping in an ordinary clothing store. Whether you need everyday clothing, a warm winter coat or a smart outfit for a special occasion, we are happy to help you find something that makes you feel comfortable.

We offer everything needed for a complete wardrobe and are also a MUP distribution point. We receive these materials through the Armoedefonds. We are grateful for clothing donations from residents and organisations in Oldambt. To maintain quality, we ask that clothing is clean and in good condition.

Our clothing bank can only exist thanks to enthusiastic volunteers and the support of donors, businesses and community organisations in the region. By giving clothing a second life, we support people who need it and contribute to a more sustainable society. Together, we make a difference every day, however small or large it may seem.

There are several ways to get involved. We warmly welcome new volunteers and board members. You can register with the shop management and an introductory meeting will follow soon afterwards. Financial support also remains important, because rent increases and rising costs may place pressure on the service's long-term continuity.
